The Punjab Agriculture, Food and Drug Authority (PAFDA) has been established to ensure the forensic examination and testing of fertilizers, pesticides, food and drugs. We are seeking highly qualified and competent professionals to join our team. Applications are invited from suitable candidates for appointment on a contract basis for an initial period of three (03) years (extendable). The positions and eligibility criteria are outlined below:

Member (Pharma)

Position Member (Pharma)
Number of Posts 1
Age Requirement 40-55 years
Salary (Pay package: Negotiable)

Qualifications & Experience

  • PhD in Pharmaceutics or Pharmacology or Pharmacy from a university/institute recognized by Higher Education Commission.
  • Minimum 12 years experience as analyst in relevant field for forensic examination or testing of pharma including supervision/management experience of laboratory activities in 17025 accredited laboratory.
  • Must have minimum 15 Publications in reputable International Journals.

Member (Agri)

Position Member (Agri)
Number of Posts 1
Age Requirement 40-55 years
Salary (Pay package: Negotiable)

Qualifications & Experience

  • PhD in Genetics or Entomology or Plant Pathology or Horticulture or Soil Science or Analytical Chemistry or Plant Physiology from a university/institute recognized by Higher Education Commission.
  • Minimum 12 years experience as analyst in relevant field for forensic examination or testing of fertilizers, pesticides including supervision/management experience of laboratory activities in 17025 accredited laboratory.
  • Must have minimum 15 Publications in reputable International Journals.

Member (Food)

Qualifications & Experience

  • PhD in Human Nutrition or Animal Nutrition or Food Safety & Controls or Food Quality Management or Food Science & Technology or Microbiology or Dairy Technology or Meat Technology or Analytical Chemistry from a university/institute recognized by Higher Education Commission.
  • Minimum 12 years experience as analyst in relevant field for forensic examination or testing of food including supervision/management of laboratory activities in 17025 accredited laboratory.
  • Must have minimum 15 Publications in reputable International Journals.

Member (Research & Training)

Position Member (Research & Training)
Number of Posts 1
Age Requirement 40-55 years
Salary (Pay package: Negotiable)

Qualifications & Experience

  • PhD. in Genetics or Entomology or Plant Pathology or Horticulture or Soil Science or Analytical Chemistry or Plant Physiology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Pharmaceutics or Pharmacology or Pharmacy, Human Nutrition or Animal Nutrition or Food Safety & Controls or Food Quality Management or Food Science & Technology or Microbiology or Dairy Technology or Meat Technology or Analytical Chemistry from a university/institute recognized by Higher Education Commission.
  • Minimum 12 years experience as analyst in relevant field for forensic examination or testing of fertilizers, pesticides or food or drugs in 17025 accredited laboratories out of which 5 years of professional experience in organizing / managing national and/or international trainings.
  • Must have minimum 15 Publications in reputable International Journals.

Chief Operating Officer

Qualifications & Experience

  • Masters in Finance or Human Resource or Commerce or Public Policy or Public Administration or Business Administration or equivalent (minimum 45% marks) recognized by higher education commission of Pakistan.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in Human resource management public finance, accounts, audit and administration in any reputed organization at managerial level.
  • The candidate must have an experience for the development of laboratories infrastructure and in prepration of lab related service regulations/manuals/policies.

General Manager(GM) Finance

Position General Manager(GM) Finance

Salary Rs. 750,000

Qualifications & Experience

  • FCCA or FCA or Masters in commerce or accounting or finance or equivalent minimum 16 years of education from university/institution (minimum 45% marks) recognized by higher education commission of Pakistan.
  • Minimum 10 Years of experience in accounts, finance, and procurement in public or private sector organization.
  • The candidate must have an experience of audit and tax related matters. Preference shall be given to candidates having an experience of working on ERP/Accounting software

General Manager(GM) Legal

Qualifications & Experience

  • Masters in law (LLM) from university/institution (minimum 45% marks) recognized by higher education commission of Pakistan.
  • Minimum 10 years practice in high court

General Manager HR & ADMIN

Position General Manager(GM) HR & ADMIN

Age Requirement 35-50 years
Salary Rs. 750,000

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master in human resource or economics or public policy or public administration or business administration or equivalent minimum 16 years of education from university/institution (minimum 45% marks) recognized by higher education commission of Pakistan.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience of administration in public or reputed private sector organization out of which 5 years experience at managerial level. Experience of organizational development, performance management, administration and procurement shall be preferred.



*Performance base annual increments & bonus, family medical insurance, gratuity and transport.

General Terms and Conditions:
  • A candidate for appointment shall be legally eligible to work in Pakistan regardless of nationality.

  • The candidate must attach a demand draft/pay order as a recruitment processing fee amounting to Rs. 10,000/- (non-refundable) in favor of “Punjab Agriculture Food and Drug Authority”.
